The heart of our Fountain of Peace NZ - Walk with a Purpose events is that students, their families and teachers can come together as a school community to make a difference in the lives of others.

On the 17th June 2022 St Mark’s School in Christchurch held their 4th Fountain of Peace NZ – Walk with a Purpose –this one inspired by Year 8 pupil, Olive Harris.

For many of the 100 students who participated, along with family members and teachers, it meant a very early start to their day. Some leaving home as early as 5.30am to arrive at St Mark’s in time to start their school day.

To all who participated – well done!! Walkers and sponsors alike - you are incredible and we are grateful.  $4,230 is such an amazing financial result.

Those funds will go a long way in providing furnishings for our new 'forever' family Home (Canterbury House) that is presently under construction, for eight of our children and their new mum.
